Quebec City, Quebec

So much to see in old Quebec City, one of the oldest cities in North America. In 1985 it was declared a World Heritage Site. I'll try to give a flavor of the old city, but know in advance that pictures will not do it justice.

Delightful modern art is often hidden in alleyways, keeping you on your toes to look into every nook and cranny.

Montnorency Falls - we heard from locals that this was the most spectacular volume of water they had ever seen rushing over the falls - thanks to almost 2 weeks of steady rain.

This quaint chapel was built in 1641 and renovated 300 years later in 1941.

Built into the hillside, we often saw these root cellars or vegetable cellars. This one was built in 1650.
