New Hampshire

The trees color the landscape with their bright fall wardrobe. And yet we often hear "oh, you should have been here last year!" I guess it was a dryer than normal summer which does not allow the colors to reach their maximum brilliance. They are gorgeous anyway - maybe we'll just have to come back... These views are from the White Mountains National Forest.

I love brooks, streams and waterfalls and will take the time to grab some pictures whenever I can.

Sabbaday falls

Old graveyards dot the landscape and are full of tombstones dating from the mid 1800's.

No trip through the area would be complete without visiting at least one covered bridge. We detoured to see a few of these relics from the past. This one, in the town of Albany, was originally built in 1852.
